Mandarin Oriental Dubai is a stylish urban resort overlooking the clear blue waters of the Arabian Gulf and Dubai’s glittering skyline. The hotel offers a spacious 2,000 sqm spa and wellness center, providing various fitness classes. The gym is equipped with the first Outrace® equipment in a hotel in Dubai, offering vigorous strength and functional training, as well as more relaxing exercises.
We produced new photography content that accurately portrays the dynamic fitness experiences they offer, along with portrait photos of their talented trainers, allowing their personalities to shine and inspire.
Pre Production
To ensure a successful outcome, we began by conducting indepth consultations with Mandarin Oriental Dubai. We listened attentively to their requirements, understanding their vision for the fitness center’s representation.
A site visit allowed us to immerse ourselves in the environment, capturing the essence of the space and conceptualizing the ideal shots for the project. Armed with this information, we proceeded to meticulously plan the shoot, creating a mood board and a detailed shot list that encompassed portraits of each trainer, action shots during training sessions, and overall fitness images.
As we arrived on the set, our team quickly got to work, setting up the lighting to ensure we would capture the perfect images we had planned.
Before we began, we gathered the trainers for a small briefing, ensuring they were well-informed about what was expected of them and our vision for the shoot.
We wanted to set the right mood and convey the trainers’ dynamic energy and expertise through the photographs. With everyone on the same page, excitement and anticipation filled the air as we prepared to capture these images in a way that would truly showcase the dynamic fitness experience.
Production Day
During the shoot, we took charge of art direction and photography, leveraging our expertise to capture the dynamic energy of various classes, including HIIT MoMax, boxing, and yoga. Through the careful selection of camera angles, lighting techniques, and color grading, we ensured each image
conveyed the desired mood and showcased the hotel’s commitment to exceptional fitness experiences. Our collaborative approach, combined with the client’s enthusiasm and dedication, fostered an atmosphere of creativity and professionalism throughout the shoot.
PORTRAITS
The professional portrait images of the trainers have elevated their presence and expertise, instilling confidence in potential guests. The compelling visuals not only convey the value of the services but also evoke a sense of excitement and inspiration.
THE IMPACT
